Assmannshausen

Assmanshausen is a small, picturesque town situated in the most romantic corner of the Rhine river, in the utmost northwest point from the state of Hesse.

The 75-hectare wine-growing community has the largest connected area of pinot- noir vineyards. The red-wine tradition in Assmannshausen goes back to its foundation in 1108.
